While I’m enthusiastic about Git, I still have to communicate with
Subversion repositories like the Plone Collective. I also like my
editor (Emacs) to help me interact with Git. In this blog entry I’ll
explain how I setup my work environment.
After using Subversion for a couple of years, it’s time for me to look
to the next generation of source control management systems.
After the upgrade to Intrepid the web developer Firefox add-on didn’t
show it’s toolbar any longer.
The new network-manager
package in Intrepid messed up my firewall
(managed by Firestarter) by connecting to the wired and wireless
network at the same time. The solution for me: Gufw.
A quick fix became an upgrade. :)
Almost flawless upgrade from Hardy Heron (8.04) to Intrepid Ibex (8.10). Only
python-setuptools
needed manual attention. Other than that: I love it!
